    Hi ,
I am looking for some pictures of the Village of Liefrange (Luxembourg) arround X-mas time 1944. My Dad was a chield during the battle of the bulge and stayed in that village. The village is about 15 km from the village of Eschdorf. In the book of Mr. Paul Heinrich , Kriegsgeschehen in Merzig und Umgebung, is an ariel picture of Eschdorf shown.
My Dad is today 84 and he tolde me not so much about the hard time he had to suffer. I woud appreciate if you could informe me about pictures that David took during that time. My dad could even help you to identify the areas.
Thank you for your reply an best greetings from Luxembourg.

  3. Hello Marc!

Happy Birthday to your father! Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, all the information and photos that we have are on the website davidjhindlemann.com. If you look in the right hand column you will see a link to the Photo Archive. These are stored on Flickr. If you look further down in that same column you will see Links. Click on the link to the 80th Division and you may find more information or pictures. I wish we had more. If your father can identify any of the other photo locations that would be great!

All our best to you and your family!

    Sincerely,

    Jo Berger
